Production of Silos and Mixers
Founded in the 1970s as a family concern, Metalmeccanica Rossi is now run by Rossi sisters Erica and Franca.
Since the early production Trevira fabric silos, over the decades it has been increasingly used in the storage and mixing of bulk materials such as powders, granules, flakes, ground products, building vertical mixers, horizontal mixers, vibrating screens and industrial plant engineering components.
One of our strong points is the customisation of the machinery we build, which requires the constant study of the chemical-physical and mechanical characteristics of the materials used in the processing cycles, specialising in the plastics, chemical, food and pet food industries and others.
OUR MISSION
is to find the optimal CUSTOM solution,
producing quality silos that are as durable as they are reliable, eliminating any future interventions.
Everything is done in-house, from the design phase, where the technical department studies new solutions by customising the machinery to the maximum, to the construction phase (calendering, shearing, welding and assembly) using technologically advanced machinery, with a staff of collaborators and employees trained to solve every need.
In the belief that product safety and quality should become distinctive production elements and as an excellent calling card in the international market, our products, by choice, are EN ISO 1090-1 marked and certified, which provides for certified welding processes and procedures, where the company is audited by the RINA certifying body.
Green Company
We think of the sea, the planet and the climate as infinite and vast concepts, but perhaps they are not... It is by changing this mindset that we could preserve the environment, people and our animal friends.
Our aim is to invest in machinery that facilitates the treatment of waste towards increasingly optimised and efficient recycling.
Not only that, we equip our machines with high-efficiency motors (such as IE3 motors) to save energy and reduce CO2 emissions.
Our silos, mixers, vibrating screens and screw conveyors are used in the industrial sectors for recycling plastics, packaging and other waste, including organic waste.
We are constantly updating our knowledge of recycled materials, PET PVC PE, we size our machines according to the processed product and volume flow rates, and perform in-house testing and trials towards a Green Economy.
